First American is a family of people who live and work in the communities we serve. For more than a century, First American has established a rich tradition of giving back to the communities in which we do business.
Our philanthropy efforts are directed primarily at organizations and causes that support housing-related activities. Additionally, through our Community Fund, First American invests in programs that demonstrate tangible results in the support of affordable-housing communities.
The goal of the First American Community Fund is to work alongside established and trusted nonprofit organizations and other community partners striving to put sustainable homeownership within reach for all Americans.
We support programs in the following areas:
Affordable Housing Development
Homebuyer Education
Real Estate Financial Literacy
Neighborhood Revitalization
Employee Volunteers
We believe that corporate social responsibility not only benefits our communities, but also provides our First American employees with an opportunity to come together for a common cause, resulting in a heightened sense of pride and unity.
Below are highlights from recent events featuring our employee volunteers actively caring for the communities where they live and work.
