Having been active in the commercial real estate industry for 30 years, my areas of specialization and firsthand professional knowledge are uniquely diversified and all-encompassing. I have expertise and a depth of knowledge with respect to acquistion, dispositions, financing, development, leasing, and also portfolio and asset management as they relate to Multifamily, Retail, and Mixed Use property types. As a former CRE executive and broker, I have a particularly strong knowledge base with commercial and multifamily properties in the Western United States, as well as a significant knowledge base that is applicable to the California, Phoenix and Las Vegas marketplaces.
Bruce Carlson has been active in the commercial real estate industry for 30 years as a commercial real estate executive. As a Sales Representative with First American NCS, he brings 30 years of professional experience to his role. Beginning his expansive career in real estate as a broker and then transitioning over time into developer and investor roles, Bruce's significant body of professional experience extends to highly specialized areas that include land acquisition, entitlement, and capital markets. Having been involved in well over one million square feet of developments and acquisitions, Bruce is widely regarded as a uniquely qualified generalist with respect to all major classes of commercial property types (Multifamily, Retail, Suburban Office, and Industrial). Given his considerable proficiency with numerous CRE-based products and markets throughout the Western United States, Bruce additionally brings a large volume of valuable professional contacts and working relationships to First American NCS.
Bruce has a Bachelor's Degree from UCLA. A California native, he grew up in Lafayette and now lives in Marin County with his three children. Among his many professional affiliations are ULI , ICSC, NAIOP and The Guardsmen. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing, hiking, cycling, paddle boarding and boating.
