Linda J. Isaacson serves as senior vice president of First American Title. As the director of business intelligence, she leads a strategic portfolio of business intelligence and technology initiatives, data analytics and process improvement for the National Commercial Services Division, while communicating the vision of business intelligence and strategy throughout the enterprise. Linda’s focus is to develop critical market intelligence, trend analysis, predictive analytics and innovative research in both the debt and equity quadrants of the major commercial capital markets throughout the United States.
A ten-year veteran of the title insurance industry, Linda also oversees tactical account management of title and portfolio transactions for principals, lenders, developers, law firms, REITS, institutional, pension and cross-border investors. She has managed multistate and multi-site transactions exceeding $1 billion. Appointed to First American Title’s global commercial services team and the executive management team of the National Commercial Services Division, Linda assists in targeting multinational companies and cross-border investors seeking investment opportunities in the United States, and has presented to institutional investors internationally. Linda also participates on numerous other corporate committees.
Prior to serving as a senior vice president of First American Title, Linda was the chief operating officer and executive vice president of the company’s New York Division. In that role, she was responsible for the strategic planning, management and overall risk mitigation projects of the New York operation. Linda joined First American Title Insurance Company of New York in 2007 as senior vice president. She was promoted to senior vice president of the parent company, First American Title Insurance Company, in 2010, and led its merger with the independent subsidiary First American Title Insurance Company of New York, resulting in First American’s New York Division. Previously, Linda was a member of the board of directors of First American Title Insurance Company of New York.
In both 2008 and 2011, Linda was selected as a “Women of Influence” by Real Estate New York, a publication of Real Estate Forum, which recognizes the industry’s most accomplished professionals. In 2012, Linda was recognized among the “Top Women in Real Estate” by the New York Commercial Real Estate media. In 2013, Linda received a “Passionate Champion Award” from First American Financial Corporation at Linkage Institute’s Women in Leadership Forum in San Francisco. This honor recognizes a team member who “drives results in his or her organization” and has a “will to win.”
Linda is a member of WX, Inc., New York’s leading Women Executives in Real Estate, an invitation-only association of executive-level women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry in New York. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), an independent global nonprofit, where she is a representative of the Global Exchange Council. Linda is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the American Land Title Association (ALTA). She is also First American’s delegate to PREA, the Pension and Real Estate Association.
A native of South Africa, Linda currently resides in New York with her husband. She is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami (B.A), and holds a Master of Education (EdM) with a concentration in Knowledge Management from Boston University.
