First American Title Company
Santa Barbara County
Established 1889
Established in 1889, First American Title has over 100
years of valuable experience providing title service to
the real estate industry. First American opened its
doors for business in Santa Barbara in 1959. Our first
office of 3 people was located downtown on Carrillo
Street. In the sixties we moved to 3704 State Street and
opened branches in Montecito, Santa Maria and Lompoc. In
1990 First American moved into our current offices at
3780 State Street. We opened our Solvang branch in
1998.
An industry leader in both technology and title, First
American Santa Barbara uses a state-of-the-art
computerized title plant, as well as automated order
tracking and accounting systems. Connecting people and
resources, our local network of over 50 computers serves
every department in the company. With our connections
to the First American Intranet and World Wide Web-we
will continue to expand and enhance service to our
customers.
We are Committed to our goal of customer service and
satisfaction.

"My thanks to Eric Stokke for the many hours devoted
to this project. First American has been the leading
title insurer in Santa Barbara County for the past 20
years, a fine tribute to our loyal and dedicated
employees for whom I have the greatest respect and
admiration."
