OC Historical Photo Archive
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, First American's historical photo archive is temporarily closed and is not scheduling appointments. We hope to continue to offer this resource to the community, and we will update this page as soon as we reopen.
First American offers access to its collection of more than 12,500 historical photographs to the public as a free community service. The collection of Orange County photos dates back to the late 1800s and is organized primarily by city.
Visitors are able to order photographic prints in a variety of sizes. Production time is usually 1-2 weeks and customers only pay for the cost of the prints. All photos must be picked up at the First American home office location. Photocopying, digital photography, or other means of reproduction are not allowed.
Access to the historical photo archive is available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment with First American's historian, or for additional information, please call 714.250.3298.
First American requires that the Company be given credit when displaying photos in a public setting or printed in a publication. Photos may not be reproduced for sale to other parties.
