First American Title Company of Hawaii, Inc. names Doris T. Osborne as president
January 21, 1985, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Following Osborne's appointment by D.P. Kennedy, president and chief executive officer of the national company, she also was named vice president and state manager of First American Title Insurance Company with responsibility for business development in Hawaii.
Osborne started with First American in 1977 as branch manager of the Honolulu office. She also served as vice president-escrow administration.
First American Title Company of Hawaii, Inc. recently celebrated 15 years of service. When the firm was established in 1969, the company's coverage was limited to the island of Oahu. Today, First American provides complete title and escrow services to all the islands in the state of Hawaii.
Osborne is a past member of the Kailua Chamber of Commerce. She also has held memberships in the Honolulu Chapter of the Escrow Association and the Hawaii Association of Legal Assistants.
Born in Taylorville, Illinois, Osborne and her family moved to Hawaii 19 years ago. She graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, Illinois, and received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Mississippi. Osborne currently resides in Kaneohe.
