First American Title promotes John F. Prenovost to vice president, county manager of Tulare County


June 21, 1985, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

D.P. Kennedy, president and chief executive officer of First American Title Insurance Company, announced that John F. Prenovost has been promoted to vice president and appointed county manager of the Company's Tulare County operations based in Visalia, California.

Prenovost will continue to serve as regional counsel for Fresno, Kern and Tulare Counties, a position he has held since 1984. Prior to his new appointment, Prenovost operated out of First American's Bakersfield, California, office in Kern County.

An eight-year veteran of the Company, Prenovost started as a law clerk at the national headquarters in Santa Ana, California. He was promoted to assistant counsel in 1979.

Prenovost is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Arizona State University and a law degree from Western State University, Fullerton, California.

First American Title Insurance Company, third largest title insurer in the nation, operates through branches, subsidiaries, affiliates or agents throughout the United States and in Guam, Puerto Rico and England. The Company has three offices in Tulare County located in Visalia, Porterville and Tulare.
