First American Title promotes Rick Wilson to vice president, county manager of Monterey County


Rick Wilson has been promoted to vice president of First American Title Insurance Company and has transferred to the Salinas office where he will serve as county manager for Monterey County. Wilson succeeds Gary A. Wangberg who has been named president and county manager of First American Title Insurance Company of San Francisco.

Wilson joined First American's San Luis Obispo office in 1973 as a searcher. He moved to the sales department and, in 1976, was named sales manager. Wilson was promoted to assistant vice president in 1979 when he became subdivision manager and assistant branch manager.

Active in community activities, Wilson is president of the Exchange Club of San Luis Obispo. He is a native of Lemoore, California. Wilson holds a bachelor of science degree from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

The company has three offices in Monterey County, located in Salinas, Monterey and Carmel.
