First American Title promotes Robert W. Duff to senior vice president

Robert W. Duff, vice president and director of national subdivision and land development for First American Title Insurance Company, has been promoted to senior vice president, according to D.P. Kennedy, president and chief executive officer.

Duff joined First American in 1956 and is recognized as a leading authority on the complexities of land development and community concepts, including condominiums, planned unit developments, zero side-yard concepts, time-sharing and interval land ownership. At present, Duff serves on the board of directors of the Building Industry Association, Orange County Region, and the Building Industry Association of Southern California. He is active on several committees of the National Association of Home Builders, Washington, D.C., and is a life-time member of the exclusive Spike-Karate Club, sanctioned by the NAHB. He also serves on the Standard Forms and Practices Committee of the California Land Title Association. He is a past director and first vice president of the Home Builders Council of California and is active in other professional groups.

First American Title Insurance Company, third largest title insurer in the nation, operates through branches, subsidiaries, affiliates or agents throughout the United States and in Guam, Puerto Rico and England.
