First American Title appoints Richard E. Garlick vice president- assistant ...

Richard E. Garlick has been appointed vice president-assistant senior title office, national division, on corporate staff for First American Title Insurance Company, succeeding Walter M. Reeves, who has been promoted.

Reeves is now vice president-senior national accounts title officer. The Riverside resident joined First American's Riverside office in 1972 and was promoted to corporate staff in 1985. His experience includes work as a searcher, production supervisor, title officer and chief title officer.

Garlick, with 20 years' title experience, transfers from First American's Seattle office, where he was title operations manager. Prior to moving to Seattle, he held a similar position with First American in Los Angeles County.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota, native was president of The Rotary Club of the City of Industry in 1985. He attended Chaffey College in Alta Loma, Calif., receiving a degree in real estate and escrow.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the largest title insurers in the country, operates through a network of offices in all 50 states. The company also provides title services in Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and England.
