At the survey's close, 27 single family detached projects were selling at an average price of $174,150. Of 5,386 total proposed units, 3,649 were sold at the end of December 1986. Square footage averaged 1,965 per home with a value ratio of $88.63 per square foot. Prices ranged from a high of $296,800 for a 3,246 square-foot, four bedroom, three bath home to a low of $73,500 for a 900 square-foot, one bedroom, one bath home.
Also surveyed were 21 condominium and planned unit development (townhouse) projects selling units at an average price of $112,037. Average square footage was 1,298 yielding a value ratio of $86.32 per square foot. Prices ranged from a high of $209,000 for a 1,517 square-foot condominium with three bedrooms and two baths to $64,995 for an 800 square-foot condominium with one bedroom and one bath. Of the 3,839 total proposed units surveyed, 2,407 were sold at the survey's close.
All the survey data collected reflects inventory available for sale during the month of December 1986.
