First American Title promotes Rick A. Weidenbach of Seattle to vice president-King County manager


June 12, 1987, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

The promotion of Rick A. Weidenbach of Seattle to vice president-King County manager has been announced by First American Title Insurance Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, D.P. Kennedy.

Weidenbach, who has 15 years' experience in the title industry, joined First American in 1982. Prior to his promotion, he was vice president-Pierce County manager in First American's Tacoma office.

He is active in organizations such as Rotary International, Home Builders Association and the Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association. In addition, he served six years in the United State Naval Air Reserve and is a graduate of the University of Washington.

Allen Exelby replaces Weidenbach in the Tacoma office as vice president-Pierce County manager. He joined First American's Tacoma office in 1985 as a title officer, and advanced to assistant manager before his recent promotion.

Exelby, a 10-year title veteran, was born in Canada, and attended high school and college in Montana.
