March 10, 1988, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

Dick Hines has been appointed assistant vice president-national accounts title officer on corporate staff of First American Title Insurance Company. The announcement was made by D.P. Kennedy, president and chief executive officer.

Hines was with First American Title Company of Los Angeles, a wholly-owned subsidiary based in Glendale, before transferring to the corporate headquarters in Santa Ana. During his 11 years with FATCOLA, he worked as a title officer, title manager in the Torrance branch office and assistant vice president-advisory title officer.

A resident of Lakewood, Hines began his title career in 1970. He holds an associate in arts degree from Los Angeles City College and bachelor of science and juris doctor degree from California College of Law, Los Angeles.

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the largest title insurers in the country, operates through a network of offices in all 50 states. The company also provides title services abroad in Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and England.
