First American Title appoints Rowan H. Taylor, Jr. as vice president-state manager in Mississippi

January 26, 1990, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

Rowan H. Taylor, Jr. has been appointed vice president-state manager in Mississippi for First American Title Insurance Company, according to President Parker S. Kennedy.

Taylor, who is responsible for the company's growth in Mississippi, has eight years of experience in title insurance, and six years of private law practice specializing in real property. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Belhaven College and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law.

The Mississippi native also is the founder/co-developer of a company which provides software for platting and analyzing legal descriptions of land. Taylor is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Dixie Land Title Association and the Mississippi State Bar Association. He resides with his wife and two children in Jackson.
