May 7, 1993, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Regional Vice President Don Wangberg notes that Wescott's presence will strengthen the ability of the regional office to handle the underwriting of large transactions locally. "We're pleased to have David move to our region so our customers can work with him directly, rather than through an underwriter in a distant location," Wangberg said.
For the past 10 years, Westcott was regional counsel for the company in the San Francisco Regional Office. Prior to joining First American, Westcott was in private practice for six years, rising from associate to partner at a firm in Lafayette.
A native of Northern California, Westcott received his bachelor's degree from Pacific Union College and his juris doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law. He has served as chairman of both the Real Property Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the San Francisco Real Estate Roundtable.
