First American Title names Gary Kermott regional vice president for the states of Arizona and Utah

Kermott began working for First American as a law clerk 10 years ago. When he received his law degree in 1985, he was hired as an assistant counsel on national staff. In 1988 he had a brief tenure in the Phoenix office as associate counsel, and was then called to Tucson to manage Pima County. In 1990 he was named president of the Arizona division of First American Title Insurance Company.
Kermott graduated from the University of Washington and earned his juris doctor from Western State University. He serves on the board of trustees for Phoenix Memorial Hospital and while in Tucson was active with the Volunteer Center and United Way.
