First American Title names Peter Zuk vice president-state manager of Vermont


Peter M. Zuk of Rutland has been named vice president-state manager of Vermont for First American Title Insurance Company, according to President Parker S. Kennedy.

Zuk began his title industry career in Bakersfield, Calif., nine years ago. Returning to his native Vermont in 1987, he joined First American as a sales representative in the Rutland office. Four years later he was promoted to assistant vice president-agency manager, a position he held until his recent promotion.

Zuk attended the University of Vermont and is active in civic and political arenas in the Rutland area.

First American Title Insurance Company, principal subsidiary of The First American Financial Corporation, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1989. One of the largest title insurers in the nation, it offers title services through a network of more than 300 offices and 4,000 agents in all 50 states. It also provides title services abroad in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom. National headquarters are located in Santa Ana, California.
