First American Title promotes Dennie Rowland to regional vice president


Dennie L. Rowland of Houston, Texas, has been promoted to regional vice president for First American Title Insurance Company, according to President Parker S. Kennedy. He will have responsibility for the states of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Rowland served as state manager of Texas for five years before his new appointment. He has worked for First American for 23 of his 28 years in the title industry, including several management positions in its Arizona operations. He left First American for five years and held top-level positions in two other companies, before returning as state manager of Texas. Rowland attended San Bernardino Valley College, California State University of Los Angeles and the University of California at Los Angeles.

First American Title Insurance Company, principal subsidiary of The First American Financial Corporation, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1989. One of the largest title insurers in the nation, it offers title services through a network of more than 300 offices and 4,000 agents in all 50 states. It also provides title services abroad in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.
