First American Title promotes Robert Meckfessel to regional vice president of the Missouri region

A native of Missouri, Meckfessel began a 22-year career with St. Paul Title Insurance Corporation's operations in St. Louis, working in all phases of the business, and worked several years at the company's home office in St. Paul, Minn. In 1979, he was appointed state manager for Missouri and Kansas, a position he continued to hold after the company was purchased by First American Title Insurance Company in 1982.
Meckfessel attended Southeast Missouri State College and Washington University. He has been very active in industry organizations, serving terms as chairman of the American Land Title Association's Land Title Systems Committee and as president of the Missouri Land Title Association.
