The First American Financial Corporation names Thomas A. Klemens vice president

Klemens joined the corporate staff of First American Title Insurance Company in 1985 as vice president-controller. Previously, Klemens had been senior vice president and chief financial officer of a major building and development company in Southern California. Earlier he had spent four years at the international headquarters of Century 21 Real Estate Corporation as vice president and chief financial officer. He also had several years experience as an auditor with Price Waterhouse early in his career.
A certified public accountant since 1975, Klemens received a bachelor's in accounting from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of CPAs and the National Association of Accountants.
