Thomas C. Casey named chair of the Trust Executive Committee of the California Bankers Association

Casey, who was named president of First American Trust Company last year, has been associated with First American since 1965. Before being named president, Casey held the position of vice president-investments, and continues to supervise investments. His prior involvement with CBA includes a long-standing membership and a term as chairman of the Trust Investment Committee. A Certified Financial Services Counselor, Casey has a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School of Northwestern University. He also serves as a member of the Board of Overseers of his alma mater, Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
A former member of the Board of Trustees of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, Casey is very active in Orange County civic activities and donates his time and expertise in fiscal duty and estate planning to a wide variety of organizations. In 1988, Casey was selected to join a delegation of American and Canadian securities specialists for a three-week technical exchange in the People's Republic of China.
