"I can't imagine a finer manager," President Parker S. Kennedy said. "Vince has been instrumental in the growth of First American as a whole and particularly that of our Nevada operation. He will most definitely be missed and we wish him well in his retirement."
Figgins began his 32-year career with First American after three years in the real estate business. He spent 15 years in the company's San Bernardino, California office, beginning in marketing and moving up to vice president-operations officer. In 1977, Figgins moved to Las Vegas as manager and executive vice president of the company's subsidiary, First American Title Company of Nevada. He was named regional vice president in 1993.
Figgins holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands in California. He has been active in civic organizations, including having served as president and then lieutenant governor for the Optimist Club while in California, and as vice president and president of the Hualipia Club in Las Vegas.
