First American Title names Brinkley Gaia vice president- Arkansas state manager

Gaia has had an 18-year career in the title industry, and joined First American in 1982 as Arkansas agency manager. Prior to joining First American, she was a marketing representative for another national title insurer.
Gaia is active in many real estate industry organizations; she has been a member of the Arkansas Land Title Association since 1982 and organized the Tennessee Land Title Association state convention in 1989. For the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives, she served as secretary-treasurer (1988-89) and as president (1991-92). Gaia was also the secretary-treasurer for the Tennessee Real Estate Exchange from 1980-85.
In addition to her business activities, Gaia is active politically, including having served as a member of Ronald Reagan's National Steering Committee. She is presently a member of and current events chairperson for Shelby County Republican Women. From 1984-89, Gaia held a mayoral appointment to the Health Education and Housing Facilities Board and served as secretary/treasurer of that organization during the last two years of her appointment. As well as being involved in numerous other political events and campaigns, she was an elected delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1992.
Gaia is a native of Tennessee. She attended South Texas College and Middle Tennessee State University. Gaia lives in Germantown, Tennessee, with her husband Gerald and is the mother of two adult daughters.
