"Our lender customers must receive a uniform product delivered within a uniform time schedule in all counties of California," stated President Parker S. Kennedy. "Dennis is uniquely qualified to lead the team that meets this challenge."
The California Lender Services division is designed to enhance the company's lender service capabilities, providing a centralized location for lenders who operate across the state. The unit will allow the lender to order title policies through one office and to deal with one contact throughout the closing process. The primary market for this product consists of one-to-four family residential lenders operating in most or all of the California counties. In addition to servicing new and real estate owned (REO) cycle loans, the California Lender Services division will also offer centralized escrow processing. According to Gilmore, "by centralizing these services into one division, we will be able to successfully process high-volume order counts in the most efficient way possible."
Gilmore has been involved in or closely related to the California lending industry for eight years. He was a vice president for TRTS Data Services, Inc., before it was acquired by First American in 1991, and, subsequently, acted as senior vice president in charge of loan servicing for Western Federal Savings in Marina del Rey, California, from 1991 until 1993. Gilmore began working for First American's tax service in Los Angeles, in 1993.
Gilmore received his bachelor's degree in business administration from San Diego State University and his master's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University.
Gilmore and his wife Alison reside in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, with their three daughters.
