First American Title promotes Thomas Grifferty to regional vice president-international operations

Grifferty joined First American in 1987 as manager-Canadian operations and was promoted to vice president-Canadian operations in 1991. Prior to joining First American, Grifferty spent 13 years as an air traffic controller in Toronto, Canada.
In this new position as regional vice president, Grifferty will be responsible for existing operations in Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as future expansion into specific global markets.
Grifferty was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and moved to Ontario, Canada, at age seven. In 1975, he attended the Transport Canada Training Institute in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Grifferty and his wife Inna live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with their three daughters.
