Robert W. Duff, a senior executive for First American Title Insurance Company, has been named National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) Alternate Director for the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA/SC). He was also elected by the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) to the position of Associate Director for the NAHB for the sixth consecutive year; in addition, he was appointed to the national group's advisory council.

Duff, a 39-year veteran of the title insurance industry, is a senior vice president in charge of national subdivision and land development for First American.

He is extremely involved in the building industry both locally and nationally, including having served terms on various legislative and political committees. Duff is also a life member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County chapter of the BIA, and serves on the board of directors of the BIA/SC as a member from industry. He is a past director and first vice president of the Home Builders Council of California.

Duff lives in the upper Newport bay area with his wife Charyl.
