First American Title announces the move of First American's National Exchange ...


July 20, 1995, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

Robert G. Noe, vice president, regional counsel and Ventura County manager for First American Title Insurance Company, announced today that First American's National Exchange Closing Unit, which he also manages, will be moving to Ventura from its current location in Santa Barbara. In addition, he has been named president and corporate counsel of First Exchange Corporation, which will be sharing office space with the Closing Unit.

Noe has worked in various legal and managerial positions for First American since 1971. He has lectured frequently on real property, specializing in I.R.C. Section 1031 Exchanges. He previously served as vice president and corporate counsel of First Exchange.

De Nece Batzianis will continue as the senior exchange administrator of the National Exchange Closing Unit, which handles escrow-type closings on a national basis. First Exchange specializes in 1031 exchanges and is utilized nationwide by First American Title Insurance Company offices as a qualified intermediary for their clients. It has been in existence since 1990. Effective at the end of July, the companies' address will be 121 North Fir Street, Ventura, CA 93001.
