"Over the years, Larry has done a great job in every assignment," said Kennedy. "His hard work in Oregon made First American the number one company in that state. He also developed a great team of people to carry on his success in Oregon."
Feagans began his 33-year title insurance career with First American. He began as sales manager in the company's Riverside, California, office and held the same position in San Diego and San Francisco. In 1974, Feagans moved to Spokane to become president of First American Title Company of Spokane. He became president of the Oregon subsidiary in 1977 and was named regional vice president in 1981.
Feagans is active in industry organizations. He has been a member of the Oregon Land Title Association since 1977 and served as president in 1985. He has also been a member of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association for 18 years.
Before joining First American, Feagans served four years in the U.S. Navy, reaching the rank of Petty Officer, Second Class. He and his wife Anita currently live in Beaverton, Oregon, but are planning on retiring in Bend, Oregon, to enjoy the fishing and golfing in that area.
