First American Title appoints Chuck O'Rourke vice president- state manager of Oregon operations


March 1, 1995, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

Chuck O'Rourke has been appointed vice president-state manager of Oregon operations for First American Title Insurance Company, according to President Parker S. Kennedy. He will also become president of the company's subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Company of Oregon.

O'Rourke has been involved in the real estate industry since 1972. He joined First American in 1975 as a sales representative in Portland. In 1985, O'Rourke moved to Vancouver, Washington, to become county manager, a position which he held until 1993 when he returned to the Portland office to become senior vice president-state sales manager.

O'Rourke is involved in both civic and industry organizations. A long-time member of the Homebuilders Association, he served as vice president-associate of that organization from 1988-90. O'Rourke served as a committee chairman for the Rotary Club for four years. O'Rourke received his bachelor's degree in economics from Portland State University. He and his wife Julie live in Vancouver, Washington.
