First American Title names Karen Ebbing vice president of the risk management division

Karen Ebbing has been named vice president of the risk management division for First American Title Insurance Company, according to President Parker S. Kennedy.

Ebbing has worked for First American since 1987 as assistant vice president in the administration department, overseeing employee benefits, corporate insurance and the corporate fleet. In this new position, she will be responsible for all corporate insurance, the corporate fleet and the implementation of the nationwide purchasing program.

Prior to joining First American, Ebbing worked for Jardine Insurance Brokers in Santa Ana, California, from 1981-87 where she was the representative for First American's account. A native of Iowa, she attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Ebbing and her husband Michael reside in Anaheim Hills, California. They are the parents of two children.
