First American Title names Laurie Grushen regional claims counsel

Grushen began working at First American in 1988 as an associate regional counsel for the Orange County branch office, a position which she held until this promotion. Prior to joining First American, she worked for two Orange County law firms where she practiced real estate law. As regional claims counsel, she is responsible for claims in the California counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Orange and Tulare.
Grushen received her bachelor's degree and her juris doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. She is involved in the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County for which she has been a member of the board of directors since 1991 and also served as vice president-development from 1993-94. A native of California, Grushen resides in Placentia with her husband Steve and their son Mitchell.
