First American Title promotes Robert Bowen regional vice president for the state of Nevada

Bowen has worked in the title industry for over 34 years. After briefly working for two other title companies, he joined First American in 1961 as a title officer and searcher in the Orange County, California, branch office. Bowen's promotions included the positions of chief title officer in Santa Barbara and county manager for the California counties of Tulare and, subsequently, Santa Barbara. In 1975, Bowen joined First American's Nevada subsidiary as president and state manager.
Bowen attended the New Hampshire College of Accounting and Hesser Business College in Manchester, New Hampshire. He is active in community and business organizations, currently serving both as vice president of the Reno Council of the Navy League of the United States and as the second chairman of the Senior Alliance for Support Services in Reno. He is also a long-standing member of the Nevada Land Title Association for which he served as president in 1980-81.
Bowen and his wife Sally reside in Reno. He is the father of two grown children, both of whom have worked for First American. His son Eric is a title officer in the Orange County branch office in Santa Ana, California.
