Dennis J. Gilmore promoted to position of regional vice president

In his new capacity, Gilmore will oversee the title insurance sales and product delivery systems for major lenders, as well as the coordination and expansion of the First American Lenders Advantage concept throughout the country. Gilmore will work closely with the regions to help them expand and improve local lender operations and coordinate the creation of a uniform product nationwide.
Gilmore holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Diego State University, and a master's in business administration from Loyola Marymount University. He worked for Weyerheuser Mortgage Company in Los Angeles from 1986 to 1988, where he held the position of assistant vice president of customer relations before being promoted to vice president of default administration. From 1988 to 1991 he was vice president of TRTS Data Services, Inc., before it was acquired by The First American Financial Corporation in 1991, and subsequently acted as senior vice president in charge of loan servicing for Western Federal Savings in Marina del Rey, California from 1991 until 1993. In 1994 he was hired by First American Title Insurance Company to develop a statewide lender services arm in California, known as First American Lenders Advantage.
