Paul L. Hammann has been promoted to vice president-associate senior underwriter on the national staff of First American Title Insurance Company. Hammann worked in private practice for six years before joining First American Title Insurance Company 10 years ago. He was hired in 1986 as regional counsel and then became vice president-Pierce County manager in 1990, where he served until he received this promotion.

Hammann received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Washington and his juris doctor from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University). He has served as president of the Washington Land Title Association, chairman of the Forms Committee on the Limited Practice Board, and is currently a member of the Pacific Real Estate Institute and the Washington State Bar Association.

For this new position, Hammann has moved from his home state of Washington to Norco, California, with his wife, Christine, and their four children.
