Blake T. Heiner named regional counsel for First American Title Company of Utah

Heiner has 19 years of experience in the title industry. He began his title career in 1978 as a part-time title searcher for a Salt Lake City title agency while he was attending law school. Four years later he joined one of Utah's largest title agencies as counsel, a position he held until he was promoted to vice president in 1986. Heiner joined First American in 1994 as vice president–legal counsel, his most recent position.
Heiner received his bachelor of science in mass communications from the University of Utah, and his juris doctor from the University of Utah College of Law. He is a member of both the Utah State Bar, and of the revolving board of trustees for the Utah Heritage Foundation. In addition, Heiner has also served as vice president of the capital region for the Utah Land Title Association. A life long resident of Utah, Heiner lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Susan, and their two children.
