Dan Voorhies named agency representative for First American's operations in Louisiana

Voorhies is a 26-year veteran of the title insurance industry, having served in various senior-level positions with several New Orleans title companies before joining First American.
Voorhies holds a bachelor of arts degree from University of Southwestern Louisiana. He currently serves as president of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Greater New Orleans, and has served as programs chairman for the New Orleans Metro Association of Realtors where he was named 1995 Affiliate of the Year. In addition, Voorhies has served as director for both the Association of Professional Mortgage Women, and also for the Louisiana/Mississippi chapter of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) of Greater New Orleans, which honored him as its 1993 Member of the Year.
A native of St. Martinville, Louisiana, in the heart of Cajun country, Voorhies resides in Metairie with his wife Andree. The couple has two children.
