Wangberg, who has held the position of regional vice president for Northern California for 28 years, began his career in 1955 at the Fresno office of Security Title Insurance Company where he spent the next seven years serving in various title positions. In 1962 he accepted a position with First American Title Company of Sacramento where he held positions as escrow department manager, title department manager, and assistant county manager. In 1967, Wangberg was named president and general manager, and two years later he was promoted to regional vice president for First American Title Insurance Company in Northern California. This region was expanded over the years to include 21 Northern California counties.
Wangberg, a Washington native, attended California State University at Fresno. He is a past president of the California Land Title Assocation, and has been involved with organizations such as the Rotary Club of Carmichael, the Northridge Water District and Goodwill Industries. He and his wife, Bonnie, live in Fair Oaks and have three grown children.
