First American Financial announces appointment of Dale F. Frey to board of directors

Frey holds a bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College and a master's in business administration from New York University. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he was hired by General Electric, serving in various managerial positions until being appointed staff executiveBinternational finance operation in 1975. From 1980 to 1984 he held the position of vice president and treasurer of General Electric and was reappointed to this position from 1986 until 1994. In addition, he served as chairman of the board and president of the General Electric Investment Corporation in Connecticut from 1984 until his retirement in early 1997.
Frey is currently a member of the board of directors of RhoneBPoulenc Rorer; USF&G Corporation; Praxair, Inc.; Doubletree Hotels Corporation; The Beacon Companies; The Cancer Research Fund of the Damon RunyonBWalter Winchell Foundation; and serves as a trustee of Franklin and Marshall College. In addition, Frey is a member of both the Forstmann Little and Company Advisory Committee and the Financial Executives Institute.
