Grant Sims named executive vice president-county manager for First American Title Company of Nevada

Sims' career with the company started in 1990 when he was hired as a commercial marketing executive for First American Title Company of Nevada. Five years later he was promoted to vice president of administration. Prior to First American, Sims worked as a marketing executive for another title company in Reno.
Sims holds a bachelor's degree in political science from California State University, Sacramento. He currently serves as a commissioner with several organizations including the Regional Transportation Commission, Regional Governing Board and the Washoe County Debt Management Commission. In addition, he also serves as chairman for the Washoe County Commission.
A native of Nevada, Sims lives in Reno with his wife, Kathryn, and their two children.
