After working in commercial construction for 15 years in Southern California, Christiansen joined First American in 1992 as a sales manager. He then served as operations manager for Maricopa County from 1994 until his current promotion.
Christiansen received his bachelor of arts in Business and Marketing from the University of Washington, and a certificate in Commercial Project Management and Development from the University of California. He is currently a member of the Phoenix Community Alliance and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. A native Californian, Christiansen resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife, Leslie, and their two daughters.
