Jon F. Reynolds Jr. has been named vice president-regional claims counsel for First American Title Insurance Company in Arizona, announced President Parker S. Kennedy. Reynolds will be responsible for handling claims for the state of Arizona.

Reynolds started with First American in 1993 when he was named associate counsel for the Santa Ana office. Over the next four years, he served as associate counsel for the Los Angeles and Riverside branches, and until his recent promotion, as assistant national claims counsel for the corporate office. Prior to working for First American, Reynolds served as an associate attorney in Pasadena, a judge advocate for the United States Marine Corps and as a paralegal for the Office of the City Attorney in Huntington Beach.

Reynolds holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Southern California (U.S.C.) and a doctor of jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law. He is a member of the California State Bar as well as the Indiana State and the Orange County Bar associations. Reynolds is a life member of the U.S.C. General Alumni Association, and is a past president of the Southern California chapter of Delta Chi Fraternity, Los Angeles. He and his wife, Julie, will be relocating to the Phoenix area.
