Rebecca L. Pelletier named assistant vice president- corporate commercial marketing

Pelletier started with First American in 1993 when she was hired as a paralegal for the company's Boston, Massachusetts, office. Two years later she transferred to the legal department of the company's corporate headquarters in California to accept the position of salvage assets administrator-special projects. There, in addition to managing the company's salvage asset portfolio, she worked as part of a "strike force" assembled to provide immediate assistance in dealing with legal/auditing issues arising out of defalcations. In 1997 she was promoted to corporate commercial marketing, her most recent position. Prior to First American, Pelletier worked as a real estate paralegal for a private law firm in Maine, and before that, in Massachusetts.
A Maine native, Pelletier holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Maine at Orono, and is certified as a state of Maine real estate sales agent through the University of Southern Maine. Pelletier serves as an active volunteer for the Nicole Brown Simpson Charitable Foundation. She and her husband, Daniel Slipkowsky, live in Mission Viejo.
