Barbara E. Willis named vice president for First American Title Insurance Company
February 3, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Willis joined First American in 1977 as an accounting clerk and national payroll tax administrator for the corporate office in Santa Ana, California. In 1983, she was promoted to statutory accountant, and, five years later to her current position of manager of statutory accounting. Prior to First American, Willis worked as a real estate agent in Huntington Beach and as an accountant for various manufacturing and service industries in Germany, her native country, and in the United States.
Willis holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the Industrie und Handelskammer, Nord Rhein Westfalen (Industry and Trade Commission of the state of North Rhein Westfalia), and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach. In addition, Willis was designated a Certified Public Accountant by the state of California in 1997.
Willis is a current member of the National Association of Female Executives, and the Orange County Women’s Networkers. Willis has lived in Westminster, California, for the past 17 years. She has one grown son.
