September 25, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, announced today that Jeff Dahlen has been named vice president-national underwriter/timeshares. Working out of the Santa Ana, California, office, Dahlen will be responsible the underwriting of time shares nationwide.

Dahlen has been working for the company since 1985 when he was hired as a searcher for the Riverside, California, office. Two years later, he was promoted to title officer, and in 1992, to chief title officer, his most recent position before transferring to the Santa Ana office this past July.

Dahlen holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Born in the state of Washington, Dahlen has lived in California for the past 14 years. He and his wife, Donna, reside in the city of Riverside with their daughters, Jennifer and Niki.
