Joe Perna has been named to the dual position of vice president-Washington state manager and King County manager for First American Title Insurance Company in Seattle, announced Parker S. Kennedy, president of the Santa Ana, California-based company. As King County manager, Perna will oversee operations for the Seattle office.

Perna started in the mail room of First American’s Santa Ana, California, headquarters in 1981. Over the next 11 years, he moved up through various title positions including customer service, title production, title officer and advisory title officer. In 1992, Perna transferred to the Seattle, Washington, branch to accept the position of national accounts title officer, where he remained for two years until transferring to his most recent position of president and manager of First American Title Company of Idaho, in Boise.

Born in New Jersey, Perna is relocating to Seattle, with his wife Jan, and their daughter.
