Lane Gidney named regional vice president of Oklahoma

Gidney has over 17 years of experience in the title insurance business and has been associated with First American for seven years. Formerly, Gidney held senior management positions with First American’s Arizona division offices in Phoenix and Tucson. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Texas, and a master’s of business administration from Kennedy-Western University in California.
Gidney currently serves as director of Advanced Title Systems in Salt Lake City, and as chairman of Utah First Exchange, Inc. In addition, Gidney is a member of TIPAC, the political action arm of the American Land Title Association. Gidney is also involved with the United Way Board as a corporate sponsor and is on the board of directors for Ballet West. He has also held director status with land title associations in Arizona, Texas and Utah. A Texas native, Gidney lives in Sandy, Utah, with his wife, Anna, and their three children.
