Laurie Grushen appointed vice president-senior national claims counsel

Grushen started as an associate regional counsel for the Orange County branch office in 1988. Seven years later she was promoted to regional counsel, her most recent position. Prior to joining First American, Grushen worked for two Orange County law firms where she practiced real estate and municipal law.
Grushen holds a juris doctor from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. She is a member of the board of directors for the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County, where she also served as vice president of development. A native of California, Grushen lives in the city of Placentia with her husband, Steve, and their 3-year-old son, Mitchell.
