Max O. Valdes named vice president-chief financial officer
February 2, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
Valdes received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton, with an accounting concentration. Before joining First American in 1988, Valdes was a senior accountant with Price Waterhouse; First American was one of his audit accounts. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs. He is currently serving as a member of the board of directors of the company's subsidiary, Midland Title Security, Inc.
A native of Havana, Cuba, Valdes has lived in California since 1965. He and his wife Karla now reside in Murrieta with their two sons, Andrew, 14, and Michael, 10, both of whom share his passion for baseball.
