Pamela Baldwin named president of First American Exchange Corporation of California


October 6, 1998, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA

First American Title Insurance Company, one of the nation's largest title insurers, announced today that Pamela Baldwin has been named president of the company's wholly owned subsidiary, First American Exchange Corporation of California, in Glendale. Baldwin will be responsible for daily operations and marketing efforts in addition to continuing to act in an escrow advisory capacity for both Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Baldwin started with First American in 1994 as senior vice president-escrow operations manager with First American Title Company of Los Angeles in Glendale. Prior to joining the company, Baldwin served as Los Angeles County escrow operations manager with a national title insurance company in Tarzana, California; vice president-branch manager for Coldwell Banker Escrow Services in Beverly Hills; and president of Woodland Hills, California-based Progressive Escrow.

Baldwin is a current member of the San Fernando Valley Escrow Association, where she served as past president; the California Escrow Association, where she also served on the executive committee; and the Federation of Exchange Accomodators.

Born in Ohio, Baldwin attended Pierce College in Woodland Hills. A longtime resident of California, Baldwin lives in the city of Westlake Village. She has a grown daughter, Shannon.
