Paul L. Hammann named vice president-senior underwriter for First American Title Insurance Company

Hammann started with First American in 1986 as regional counsel in Seattle. In 1990, he transferred to the Tacoma office as vice president-Pierce County manager, where he remained for six years until relocating to the Orange County, California, office. Prior to joining First American, Hammann worked in private practice in Bellevue, Washington.
Hammann holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Washington, and a juris doctor from the Seattle University School of Law. Hammann is a current member of the California Land Title Association, where he is also on the Forms and Practices Committee. He is a past president of the Washington Land Title Association, and was appointed in 1991 as title industry representative to the State of Washington Limited Practice Board by the Washington State Supreme Court, a position he held for four years.
A native of the state of Washington, Hammann lives in Norco, California, with his wife, Christine, and their four children.
